J LASHMAR & SON / DRAINAGE & CONNECTIONS
Support for your next connection.
Targeted excavation support around drainage runs, connection points and confined working areas, subject to site assessment.
Drainage & connections
Excavation support around drainage runs, connection points and areas where careful access matters.
Where we can help
- Exposing existing drainage for inspection
- Excavation around proposed connections
- Supporting drainage contractors and civil engineering works
Prepare the work area for your drainage team
A drainage project can involve existing runs, nearby services and a limited area in which to make a connection. An agreed local excavation can give the drainage contractor access to assess the existing layout and carry out their next task.
Tell us whether you are investigating an existing pipe, preparing a proposed connection or exposing a particular section for inspection. Drawings, site photos and the required excavation dimensions help define what is needed.
Plan the handover between trades
Let us know who will inspect the drainage, undertake the pipework and manage any water affecting the excavation. If the area needs opening before our visit, or backfilling and reinstating afterwards, agree who is arranging those stages.
Excavation support is distinct from drain jetting, CCTV surveys and drainage installation. Include those requirements in your enquiry so the quotation describes the work being provided and the activities your own contractor will complete.
Planning your job
Tell us about the drainage layout, required excavation, ground conditions and access. Include any water, disposal or working-hour constraints so the team can discuss the arrangements.
